The Wedding Singer and the Undertaker by Christa Couture

Christa writes some of the prettiest songs I’ve ever heard. Though the sounds are sweet, this album deals with some fairly heavy subject matter.

I tried to show this duality with the plant illustrations. The way they encircle her is beautiful, but at the same time vaguely menacing. Christa can either be interpreted as willfully emerging from the chaos, or about to be consumed by the entropy of nature. The choice is yours.
