Toronto Cyclist’s Union fundraiser signage

The Toronto Cyclist’s Union held it’s first annual fundraiser at the Steamwhistle brewery. It was important to make the event feel like their own.

Because whatever we made was going to be hung from the rafters, it had to be quite large.

I cut their logo out of a stack of old bike boxes, donated by MEC. Super-volunteer Bep Schippers painted them orange. The white lettering was then rolled on through a stencil.

Stencil making tip: Cover your paper with packing tape before you cut the stencil. It makes it hold up better to wet paint.
