Coco Love Alcorn re-used merch clothing

Coco approached me about helping her make t-shirts the first night we met. Three weeks later we decided to date, and a few months later we started making shirts.

Coco had the great idea of using second-hand clothing. She had seen Christa Couture do something similar. Our first re-used shirts sold well enough that we knew we were onto something.

Since then, we’ve made thousands of these one-of-a-kind shirts. What you see here is only stock from one tour. I should also mention these were screened before I was using photo-emulsion, which means every design required hand-cut stencils.

This is was a project that was made possible by the close relationship between a graphic designer and a musician.
