Carl Sagan is one of the most important minds of our time.
In 1996, he published “The Demon Haunted World”. Included in this book is the now oft-cited “Baloney Detection Kit“. It is essentially a tool for testing arguments and detecting fallacious or fraudulent arguments.
For those unfamiliar with Carl Sagan, I urge you to listen to his musings on the pale blue dot.
I generally like the idea of any Sagan wearables, but wish the front image made it more obvious that this is not a variant of the “I smell bacon” sort of idea, but rather a clear reference to nonsense or malarkey. Perhaps a phrase more like “Good scientists always have their baloney detection kit with them” or something like that.
